About the event
To reach a nation we have to reach the families.
Families and marriages are at the very foundation of human life. Strong marriages produce healthy families. Healthy families bring forth healthy individuals. And healthy individuals make a strong nation. God has a design for family – one that actually works. The world needs people who understand it and know how to bring it back. Take this course to lay strong foundations for your own marriage and family, and prepare to make an impact on the families around you!
The Foundations for Family Ministries (FFM) is built for exactly that. Whether you're single, married, or raising a family, you'll come away with a solid biblical understanding of family life, a clear model for how families actually function, and practical tools for helping families in your community. You'll grow through lectures, personal study, research, and hands-on experience – in knowledge, in character, and in confidence.
The details:
FFM is a University of the Nations (UofN) course in English & German and can be your entry point for an Associate of Arts or Bachelor of Arts, offered through the College of Family Studies.
To join, you'll need to have completed a YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS). If you've done a different discipleship school or have served on church staff, reach out – we'd love to figure out together whether this is a good fit for you.
Lecture phase: April 5 - June 30
Outreach Phase (partially abroad): July 5 - September 1
Prices for the lecture phase (per person)
Adults:
registration - 50,00 € (non-refundable)
course fees, accommodation, working materials, six hot meals per week, books, snacks - 2,700.00 €
Children:
accommodation, six hot meals per week, child care, snacks
0-2 years - 300,00 €
3-12 years - 1000,00 €
13-18 years - 1.400,00 €
The costs do not include visa fees, breakfast and dinner, and transportation/travel (if needed).

Children:
Prices will be calculated according to age.
