In the family, you teach your children the basics and values that will shape them throughout their whole lives. That's why we're committed to helping you build solid foundations for your family that really last.
Right from the start, the work of YWAM Hainichen focused on offering Christian seminars and training courses for the whole family. A feature that, together with only a few other centers in YWAM, makes us internationally distinguished. Serving God together as a married couple or family, maybe even going into missions as a family – these are central topics of our family ministry programs.
Our team is an active part of the network of YWAM Family Ministries International, which was shaped and led from Hainichen for many years.
A few years ago we significantly expanded our offer, so that not only Christian families can find impulses and help from us, but all families in Hainichen and in the region of Central Saxony. You can find these offers under www.werkstattfamilie.de.
Upcoming Events
Project "Werkstatt Familie"
Our “Werkstatt Familie” (i.e. family workshop) project, which we started in 2016, sees itself as a platform for parents to talk to each other so that everyday life as a family is more successful. Volunteer and professional family companions provide information and help. Our meeting, education and counseling offers are open to everyone and are aimed in particular at parents and those involved in raising children in the region.
We are a member of the working group on family education in the district of Mittelsachsen.
